- Consider a whole grain grilled chicken or lean steak sandwich or wrap it with lettuce. Just don’t forget the other vegetables you can pack on it or with it.
- Pick Dad’s fresh fruit favorites: apples, grapes, berries, and oranges.
- Make a protein based dip - puree some cottage cheese with your favorite seasonings. Then dip them in snow peas, tomatoes, carrots and celery.
- Bake some kale ‘chips.’ Get the recipe from your clinic.
