The other day I discussed how healthy fats can be your friend or foe while dieting. The CMWM diet plan works as a low carb diet with great success mainly because it actually monitors calories as well as carbs. A problem I see in many low carb diets and why they probably fail has to do with the amount of calories that are ignored completely, especially with fat consumption. If you look at most low carb sites, fat calories in general, simply ‘don’t count’ for some reason. The reality is, calories do count if you are trying to lose weight. And there are plenty of calories in all fat sources, even in small amounts.
