Thinking Outside of the Box

Last week I discussed thinking outside of the box when putting recipes and menus together. Here’s a quick and simple recipe that can substitute for mashed potatoes. Just add to your main course, with or without a gravy.

Anyone who has gone through the agony of losing weight, only to regain it, knows maintaining that weight loss might be even harder to do. It's often thought that the same habits that help you lose the weight would help you keep it off too, right?

No Time To Exercise?

"I don't have time to exercise" is an ongoing mantra for not exercising. So here's the solution if you just can manage to etch out a mere 20 minutes, 3 times a week. It's basically sprint interval training exercises, commonly called HIIT (high intensity interval training) today. Some may remember it from high school or football training, it just didn't have the fancy name.
