Peach Melba Smoothie

This is a delicious blend of peach and raspberry flavors, good year around.

  • 1 cup Frozen Peaches, unsweetened
  • 2 Tablespoons Raspberry Preserves, unsweetened
  • ¼ cup Non Fat Plain Greek Yogurt*
  • 1 scoop CMWM Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 1 cup Ice
  • 2 packets Stevia, Truvia or Splenda or to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon Vanilla Extract or to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cherry Extract or to taste
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Adjust to taste with the extracts and Stevia. Add more ice if you prefer a taller smoothie.

Be aware that the carbohydrates for the day add up quickly. Plan your menu accordingly. Do not exceed 45 grams of carbohydrates for the whole day’s menu.

Preparation time 5 minutes, cooking time none.

Total Fruit per serving: 1

*Fage is the preferred brand of non fat plain Greek yogurt.

Reminder to CMWM patients: each vegetable serving equals 5 grams of carbohydrates; each small fruit serving equals 15 grams of carbohydrates. Total carbohydrates for the day should not exceed 45 grams.
