What Makes You Successful with Weight Loss?

Written by
Most social events around food involve making mistakes and slipping up around your diet plan. Some people don't plan well and then eat the wrong foods because the right foods are not available. Some simply fall back into old unhealthy eating behaviors. There are those who give in to the all or nothing trap and really get off track or even give up entirely. Yet, many still learn from their mistakes and eventually get to their goals despite these challenges. So why is one person successful and the other a "failure?"
In the words of Deepak Chopra, it may be summed up, "knowledge of any kind,....brings about a change in awareness from where it is possible to create new realities." This is directly learning from the challenges and mistakes, and then making sure not  to keep repeating the same mistake over and over.
There are steps to this:
1. Really understand why you make your mistakes.
2. Review all the information about the next similar situation and understand what you need to do to be successful.
3.Take the necessary action to be successful-simply put, apply what you learn.
4. Build on what you learn and own it as your new truth.
5. Remember this statement, "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity!"
"Some people dream of success, while others wake up and work hard at it." -Are you just wishing for success or are you doing what it takes to change unhealthy habits once and for all?
